Our board members held a meeting for the first meeting of the year at Hmong Village Shopping Center at 11:00 AM. The purpose of this first meeting was to discuss about the plan for all the events and continue to build connection as well as relationship within our families and other seventeen counsels.
Throughout the meeting, the following tasks were assigned to each of the boards to follow and make it happen for the year.

1. Yong Yang, Public Relation: hold responsible to communicate with the Yang families member and Yang Wameng Board members regarding the New Year celebration. He will also take care of building the Roster/Directory of UYFO Families.
2. Txiab Neeb, Culture: Responsible to create a directory for culture including list of those who know Yang's Culture (Funeral, Hu plig, Ua tshoob, etc)
3. Tony, Business: Will work with the Yang Families to collect all the current business information.
4. Neng, Education: Will communicate with the Yang Family to collect all the most current children who graduated from school, and hold a celebration party.
5. Houa, Fundraising: Will work on creating UYFO Pins for all the boards and sell to the communicate as part of the fundraising.
6. May, Youth: Encourage youth to participate in family events/ gathering.
7. Nuchi, Woman: Make sure to have the previous Woman Chairs as advisors.
8. Pheng, Co-Fundraising: Reserve a place for this year Picnic and Camping.
